Drawing and illustrating, thrifting, vinyl records, turntables and audio gear, video games old and new(ask me about my game museum!), movies, concerts, biking, theme parks, road trips, buying stuff I don't need from eBay, baking cookies, science, daydreaming, trying "not to be seen."
I'd like to keep in touch with old friends.
The strongest love in my life. My roots are in 70's and 80's punk and new wave, 90's alternative, classic R&B, the Blues. Good sci-fi and horror, comedies that are irreverent, clever or outlandish, Asian action flix, anime, anything that's original, thought-provoking or disturbing. But I HATE anything that follows a predictable formula: family comedies, cutesy Disney crap, romantic comedies with pop singers in them, etc. Some faves: Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Brazil, Caddyshack, Blazing Saddles, Evil Dead trilogy, Dawn of the Dead(original), the Thing(remake), Chasing Amy, the Prestige, Dark City, Kill Bill, Better Off Dead, Being John Malkovich, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Last Starfighter, Clerks, Office Space, Rock and Rule, Team America, Orgazmo, Wicker Man(the original, of course), Real Genius, Sword and the Sorcerer, Conan, Flash Gordon, Big Lebowski, Tron, Phantasm, High Fidelity, Free Enterprise, Blade Runner, Children Of Men, Pan's Labyrinth, No Country For Old Men...
The original Twilight Zone, 80's cartoons like Thundarr, Dungeons and Dragons, Transformers and G.I. Joe, the Young Ones, the Prisoner, The Office, My Name is Earl, Simpsons, Seinfeld, Family Guy, NOVA, Star Trek, Battle of the Planets, Mr. Show, Flight of the Conchords, Robot Chicken, and I still miss MTV's 120 Minutes...
I love to buy books, but my short attention span keeps me from actually reading them. I'm much better off with magazine or newspaper articles. The two books I use the most are Goldmine's Record Guide and Video Hound's Golden Movie Retriever. Oh, and the dictionary.

Dick, Akira Kurosawa, Freddie Mercury, Nolan Bushnell, Ralph Baer, John Cusack, David Lynch, John Waters, Bill Murray, Paul Newman, Terry Gilliam and the Monty Python troupe, Carl Sagan, Bill Sienkiewicz, Neil Gaiman, Betty Page, Roger Corman, Rod Serling, Joe Strummer, Alex Ross, the Coen Brothers...
