Musical Highlights:
Simple Minds live at Werchter 1984; the band just released "Sparkle in the Rain"; the positive vibe of the band and the audience; 30 degrees without a cloud at the sky.
Marillion at Pinkpop 1984; seeing Fish with Marillion on stage really impressed me; he was huge and seemed to stare in to everyone's eyes. Bought a gigantic poster of Fugazi which was signed later on by pete Trawavas. What a day !!!
Pendragon at Amsterdam Paradiso; I believe the first gig in Holland; emotional gig followed by several encores.
Queen at Koln Open Air 1986; I don't have much with Queen's music but live it was fantastic.
Youssou N'Dour at parkpop The Hague; standing still is impossible with this rhythmic music.
Pink Floyd 1988 in Rotterdam and Dortmund; Without Roger Waters but with all the great show elements.
The Waterboys at Bospop 2006; The best Bospop line-up ever with three days great bands; beautiful weather and my all time favourite band playing as one of the last bands in the tent blowing everbody away with their energy !!!
Yes reunion tour at Rotterdam Ahoy; eight ego's playing the best songs from Yes through the years on a rotating stage in the middle of Ahoy.
