Mr. Johnson for the past three years has worked very closely with Disco D and Benny Blanco through his music production and marketing company Pilot Creative. James Johnson started Pilot Creative "as a medium for artists to have true representation." He signed Disco D and Benny Blanco to Pilot as well as drummer and music consultant Guy Licata. My sense is that, James was crafting more of a musical family than a label. He has had a strong brotherhood relationship with his musical partners as well as a business one.
