About Me

Another tomorrow,
shedding the shade we made yesterday;
Disguised as the lightning,
dissolving all the thunder...
From Walls of Jericho by Fair to Midland
Darroh Sudderth - Fair to Midland (I heart him)
THE SURFACE:
I'm a fairly down-to-earth girl but only by necessity. I'd rather have my head in the clouds. I'm engaged to a great guy with the wedding coming up soon; we will finally make it official and stop living in sin on August 22, 2008. My kitties are my children, Asia and Zoe. I also have a monster koi named Santiago. I work in IT as a technical specialist in the corporate office for a party supply retailer.

THE CORE:
I love storms, the nastier the better. In my heart lies the soul of a storm chaser.

I love nature- forests, rivers, mountains, oceans... I want to someday live in Oregon, where I can have my two favorite things- mountains and ocean.

I LOVE history, specifically ancient cultures and civilizations. I love Europe, and will someday have the honor to see first hand the emerald isle (Ireland), Britain, Germany, Norway. I love to read, and I love to write. Mainly stories, but if the mood strikes me I'll write some poetry. Most of it's damned depressing though, truth be told. I am a psychotic animal lover. Don't ever let me catch you doing anything remotely harmful to an animal... I might have to kill you. Yes, I am serious.

And don't get me started on the subject of our environment, unless you're ready to enter a political conversation.

THE HONORABLE MENTIONS:
I love red wine. I love to dance. I love to sing. I love the smell of fall. I love snow on christmas eve. Aliens are the only things that seriously freak me out.

My Interests

Writing, writing, writing! Reading, reading, reading! Hiking, walking nature trails Animals and the environment Scaring the crap out of myself Amatuer paranormal investigator

    All things mystical and magickal!

I'd like to meet:

As far as *real* people go:
I love meeting new people. I'm pretty philosophical. I LOVE meeting people who can have intelligent, thought-provoking conversations with me.
Like most human beings I know, I like to meet positive, good hearted people who view life deeper than face value.

As far as generalizations go, I would love to meet *blank* and for the following reasons:
TAPS! My favorite ghost hunters.

Kate - my fav kickin ass girl!

Johnny Depp - so freakin hot. Or maybe I just have a thing for dirty pirates with lots of eye makeup...

People from Ireland - one of my homelands.

Pink Floyd - my all time favorite band.

An alien, to know for sure...

And of course, FAIR TO MIDLAND (even tho I've already met them, they're still wicked cool guys)

Music:

Very eclectic taste... I listen to lot's of different things. I love anything Electronica- Ambient Dance, Trance, Techno, Industrial, Darkwave, Soundscapes, New Age, anything with atmosphere. I like to listen to music and escape within. It's an inspirational force if you know what I mean.
