About Me
Raising Kubrick formed in the fall of 2001 with the intent of creating eclectic extreme music. We released a few (and very bad) demos in 2002 & 2003. In 2004, we released our debut full length (also not so hot) "The Important Thing Is Moral Choice" on NotCommon Records. You can find it for sale through NotCommon & Relapse Records, and very possibly a few others. After 4 years, we decided to go our separate ways and played our final show on November 26, 2005. On this date we also issued our final release, a split CD with The Taste of Silver on Third Sin Records/Argentum Decorum Est. This CD sounds considerably better than anything before it, and represents the band at it's fullest. It is limited to 300 copies and there are still a few left (from us or TTOS). During our short life as a band, we managed to share the stage with the likes of Cattle Decapitation, All That Remains, From A Second Story Window, Dead to Fall, Remembering Never, Cannae, Malignancy, Kylesa, Misery Index, PsyOpus, Invocation of Nehek, Soilent Green, Internal Suffering, The End, Into the Moat, Arsis, Wasteform, Animosity, Ed Gein, Backstabbers Inc., and tons more. Feel free to check out all of our new bands, too ('Updates' blog). They're all much better.
