The Taste of Silver (RIP 2004-2007)

these patterns are slowly recognizing us

About Me

Hello there. We're a band from the small town of Arlington, in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We do our best to take writing to new and interesting places that it mostly likely hasn't really ever been before. We're 2/3 vegetarian, and its Rowan's critical job to protect the food supply from those hungry vegan-types. We love to play live, so don't be shy about dropping us a line and asking us to play a show.
Here's a short history: We formed in January of 2004. Since then, we have played three or four US Tours, shows on radio stations WUML and WUNH, and well over two hundred and fifty performances. We strive to be good people within the band, and to put our hearts into playing. We are sincere, and seek to be fair, honest, and friendly.

That's the long and short of it. If you have any questions, message us, or email us via [email protected] . We're always up for playing whenever. In fact, we'll play most anywhere within 4-5 hrs driving distance when we're not on tour. And when we're on tour, we can always use the help!
Also, feel free to AIM thetasteofsilver or AIM From0010110.

TO PURCHASE OTHER RECORDS, T-SHIRTS, ETC:
The first full-length from TTOS. Eleven songs recorded from 2004 till 2005,
mostly at Dead Air Studios in Amherst, MA by Will Killingsworth.
Features Wireframe, Absinthe & Nightvision Goggles, Atlas's Collapse,
and others. Worth every penny.
Thirteen songs of epic doom and grind.
An illustration of perception and existence; a raw, epic soundscape.
Features Return To Stone, The Carving of Galatea,
Escape Velocity, and more. Released on
Hold True Records .
In June of 2007, after a good four year run (did we really start in 2004? Or was it 2003?) we decided to call the band quits. We're all going our seperate ways, and thank everyone that has helped us along the way. Keep an eye out for our future projects, and we're still selling all our merch and CDs to pay back what we spent making them. Now it's all "limited edition" I guess, right?
