I have ran the gammut of different line of work from Child Actor, Tap Dancer, Caterer, US Marine, Telecommunications Technician, Rapper(certified wood) Hip-Hop Producer(Certified Gold & #1 song), Artist Manager (took them from the gutter to the sidewalk) to Street Vendor.I'm forever a student of Bass and Music Theory (Shout out to Jazzmobile, New Amsterdam Music Association, Jazz Museum Of Harlem, Brooklyn-Queens conservatory Of Music and the Barry Harris Jazz Workshop) I'm building my Core repitoire up and will form a rare groove band and small jazz combo to do sunday brunches and play in the subway around the city.I love traveling, I have visited,lived or spent sometime in over 15 countries and still have much more to do.I have a Internet Radio Show (On Hiatus) called Soul Sankofa ( www.soulsankofa.com )where I play Rare Grooves(Roy Ayers, David Axelrod, Eddie Fisher, etc.) and interview musicians who have created this music which I feel is the cornerstone of modern Hip Hop.
