I am here for Friends

About Me

The name's D.J. Paris (yes, really), and I'm a webmaster for an Internet development company in Manhattan, and I've lived in NYC--Park Slope, Brooklyn to be exact--for ten years now.I'm also an occasional actor and singer. I just finished shooting my first lead in a feature film--an indie called CASUAL ENCOUNTERS. And in 2005, I performed in the off-Broadway musical, FOOLS IN LOVE, in which I sang pop songs from the 60's. The highlight of that experience was a mention in the NEW YORK TIMES' review of the show:D. J. Paris, making his New York stage debut, does a particularly nice job on "Unchained Melody."Sweet. I spend my free time learning the guitar, hanging out with friends, going on first dates, working out at NYSC (I try to go everyday), exploring museums / theater / movies, surfing the Web (hey, it's my job), and playing with my iPhone. I'm a fan of pop culture, trivia, dimples, facial hair, blue eyes, comfort food, and romantic settings. I like Jack-and-Diet Coke, anything with melted cheese, and popsicles. I'm very affectionate and a "great kisser" (or so I've been told). I'm known to laugh uncontrollably. I'm easy-going, tend to go with the flow, and I'm pretty good at Scrabble.

My Interests

Exploring NYC, learning guitar, healthy food, kissing, new technology, bars (but not clubs really), Apple, comedy, animals (especially the furry kind), shirtless guys, the 80's, photography, ice cream, bad movie musicals
