When looking for Detroit's premier tastemaker in the social scene, Jody Haddad is your answer. Early beginnings started for Jody as the Public Relations Director for the United Consumers Club in Rochester 1996. It was here that Jody shined as the leader for 11 consecutive months for new accounts acquired for the branch. In 1998, Jody managed Cooker Restaurants in Troy and was quickly awarded Employee of the Year in 1999. Jody was #1 in ranking for total percentage increases in sales for the entire company of 81 restaurants. His experience in dealing with patrons as well as his ability to generate a profitable atmosphere led him down the path of the night scene. In 2002 he started his career out as a charismatic bartender in the acclaimed Birmingham hangout The Corner and quickly learned the ropes of nightlife. Over a four-year period Jody Haddad became directly involved with all aspects of The Corner, from the financials to the promotions, Jody became synonymous with The Corner's success. Recognized as "Worlds Best Bartender" by The Food Network, Style Magazine, Global Traveler and others; serving up cocktails and small talk was only the start of something bigger for Jody. In 2004, he served up something a little more then a cocktail to Detroit, as he created his company Vital Productions. Recognized as a veteran in nightlife and one of Detroit's premier promoters, Jody Haddad's list of clientele is a tall order for any other to match. Vital Productions graced the Detroit area with a plan in mind, to bring the best nightlife experiences possible. An Oakland University graduate in Business Management and Marketing, Jody had the education combined with years of experience in clubs, bars and restaurants to create a company triumphing all others. A force to be reckoned with, Jody Haddad made Vital Productions a staple to Detroit's nightlife and himself a name in the scene. Jody has been awarded by local magazines like Six Degrees in 2006 as "The Promoter You Should Know" and is known for turning every major holiday into an anticipated event. The acclaimed Sutra Saturdays, Sexy Fridays at The Corner, and Mon Jin Lau Wednesdays are known as some of the longest running and most successful weekly events.
