About Me

I like big butts and I cannot lie. All I care about right now is taking pictures and laughing.I have a famous knack for falling for guys who might as well live on other planets, since they always live on other continents. Perhaps this is because I subconsciously fear true commitment, though consciously I don't believe that to be the reality; I think I just don't belong in the USA. (So, clearly) I'm complex and thoroughly amazing. Diplomatic. Down-to-earth. Caring. Humorous. Real. It's the little things that matter to me. I do not believe in mediocrity. I'm a thinker and I love broccoli. Former pothead, current braincell-embracer. Children make me smile big. I love bright colors, but I also love marroon. I see beauty everywhere my eyes take me. I like men who aren't afraid to cry when it's called for. I'm a bit more scandalous than you'd ever think by looking at me. I will never buy another VW, but I will live in Europe again. And, by god, do I take pleasure in a good meal (cooked by someone else, of course). I'm figuring my life out, finding out who my real friends are, and I'm loving every second of it.

My Interests

Photography (manual; not digital). Writing. Singing. Traveling. Snowboarding! (and breaking my ribs on double black diamonds. What, what!) Painting people. Music. Fun. Baking goodies from scratch and watching people enjoy them. Legendario de Cuba. Ways to eliminate vocal nodules. Good conversation. Learning. My breasts the week before my period. Espanol. Paulo Coelho. Hiking. Zoos. Starry skies on pollution-free nights. Passion. Nature. Beauty. Life. Love.

I'd like to meet:

Some wild stallion with a very large...MIND. Some girls who are TRUE friends. Some creative souls who are doing what they need to do here. Funny people. Loving people. Intelligent people!! Mediocrity kills, so all you bright people, come and arouse my left and right brain! Photographers who haven't succumbed to the digital world. Photographers who HAVE succumbed to the digital world and consequently want to help me see that there's something incredible about it. Unique people who encourage me to reach new heights. Spiritual-in-a-non-religious-way people. Hmm. *Some super-sexy, laid-back, earth-loving Rasta-type* People who think. Deeply and profoundly. Someone who wants to assassinate George W., his whole family, and his jesus-loving administration. Someone who stops to smell the roses. Someone who likes green eggs and ham. Someone who cries when they listen to beautiful music, the kind that makes the hair on your arms stand on end. Someone intelligent. a dreamer.

Heroes:

Not heroes, but people who inspire: *My parents...because they are amazing human beings who have followed their passions and never wavered no matter how hard it got; because they're two of the most intelligent people I know, and because they're still so in love after almost 30 years of marriage that they hold hands and kiss each other hello. Can I get an AMEN! *People who follow their dreams and don't settle for less. *Mr. Marley himself. *Paulo Coelho. *Dale Chihuly for creating such beauty and for bringing the desire to create back to me!!! *Intelligent risk-takers...people who step into the unknown and let the universe take them where they're meant to go, all the while trusting that it's happening because it's supposed to. *People who inspire positive social and political change.
