Don't really watch much TV these days. If I do, it usually ends up on Mythbusters or something on DIY.
I'm supposed to go on a book diet. My birth library is going to collapse the floor of our library. And it's on a concrete slab. I have a huge love of reading anything on women's health, childbirth, lactation, anatomy, feminism, death, dying, funerals, hearses, sewing, fashion design, costume design, period clothing, clothing construction techniques through the ages, cats, dogs, kids, attachment parenting, religion, politics, children's books, British history, German history, Russian history, medical history, midwifery, non-fiction anecdotal, biographical, whimsical, comedic, wry, theatrical, and so forth. And Stephen King. And a little Anne Rice (I grow weary of her in my increasing age). We own a library of about 2,000 titles. Ask if you would like to borrow something. I think we have more books than the closest Denver Public library (but it's an annex, very, very small). How sad is that?
Me, my Mom, my children, and every woman who has given birth the way she wanted and needed to.
