The Dalai Lama, Neil Gaiman, and Celine Dion. Because I hate her. And nothing would give me more joy than to bitchslap her.
Tori Amos, Coldplay, David Gray, PJ Harvey, Stone Roses, Poe, Massive Attack, Everything but the Girl (duh), Ani DiFranco, Dido, Keane, All American Rejects, Kings of Leon, Frank Sinatra, Kate Bush, Nine Inch Nails, Fiona Apple, Damien Rice, Radiohead, Franz Ferdinand, Snow Patrol, Liz Phair, Jimmy Eat World, Oasis, Blur, The Beatles,Etta James, Goldfinger, (SHAMELESS PLUG FOR MY GIRL) Mazz Swift and everything she touches :-), THE CURE, etc, etc, etc....I could go on and on - probably will at another time.
Dangerous Beauty, Tombstone (just because Val Kilmer was so.... Yum), Amelie, Edward Scissorhands, Chocolat, Like Water for Chocolate (I'm suspecting a theme....sex and sweets - better quit while I'm ahead), Shrek, and even Shrek 2, Everything Wallace and Grommit (anyone see the new one yet?), Corpse Bride (just saw that, and am riding that high....mmmm....Tim Burton and Johnny Depp, what could be better), and again, I could rattle off at least 20 other titles. But it gets boring after a while. And I have the attention span of a goldfish. For the Record - Even if I DIDN'T have a kid, most of my favourite films would still be cartoons and animation of any sort. That's just the way I roll. And no, I DON'T think Napolean Dynamite is f'in funny. IT'S NOT.
Sex in the City - yes, I still watch the reruns on demand, PROJECT RUNWAY!!!! (Tim's my bitch), Weeds, Real Time with Bill Mauer, Rome, Dead Like Me (WHAT happened to that program? It was FABULOUS), Family Guy, the Simpsons - but the old ones!, Crankyankers, America's Next Top Model (so sue me I love the marathons on VH1), The Daily Show, Drawn Together
I'm on a Tom Robbins high lately - But here are LOADS and loads and loads of books. It's true. So I will change this every so often with the newest. Most recently I read Killing Bono by Neil McCormack. That book, for anyone who likes U2, or even, for any struggling musician, is just fabulous. Really. A great subway read.
My cat Frankie, and my son - they both have better outlooks on life than most other people I have known
