About Me

* Grounded *
* Dreamer *
* Romantic *
* Dedicated.*
* Loyal *
* Goal-oriented *
I am real.
I love my family, both immediate and extended. I love my friends. I enjoy seeking and meeting blood relatives. I’m attracted to good-hearted people full of integrity. It is hard for me to be two-faced. Because I’m easily read, lying to you will be almost impossible. I prefer being in the company of small groups of people versus large ones. Unless it’s like my wedding or a family reunion. I absolutely adore my husband. He is my best friend, my boyfriend, mi hermanito, my soulmate, my true love all wrapped up in one. I miss my cousins and cuzzins. I seek out things that soothe my soul. I abhor smoking. Noisy and obnoxious people peeve me GRANDLY. I believe in intuition. I now rarely make decisions tagged with regrets. I am emotional. I do get jealous, so don’t take what’s not intended to be yours. Unless I let you. I love sharing and I’ll give all that I can to make the ones I love happy. Random at times, I can be childlike but also very motherly. I was born to love and look forward to the day when little Brians and Jaydees start running around. I love surprises and thoughtfulness. I am patient. I strive to be good to my husband, my family, my friends, coworkers, strangers but, most of all, * to myself.* Hugs and smiles brighten my day.
I believe that reciprocity, communication, and balance are key to any successful relationship. I treat others the way I want to be treated....with genuine respect and kindness.I heart Brian!

My Interests

Cows, turtles, and ladybugs. Miss Saigon. Wedding Singer. Can be obsessesd with one song for weeks. Love 80s and early 90s music. I try to travel out of my hometown most weekends. I’ve only traveled out of the country twice: Philippines and Montreal. Want a dog but allergic to animals. Dream of staying in an overwater bungalow in Tahiti. Want to travel the world but too committed to everyday life. New York City has the best food on the planet. Love tzatziki, souvlaki, bread pudding, pizza, penna vodka from Astoria. Mei Lai Wah brown siopao, pan de coco, soupy dumplings from China town. Hot dogs. The Hog Pit mac and cheese in the Meatpacking district. The best sushi ever is made by Yasu here in our town of Forest Hills. At home in Va Beach, there’s nothing to me like Pollard’s fried chicken and any of my mama’s soups. Yum! I enjoy playing texas hold ‘em, especially if I win. I’m Filipina but don’t know how to play mahjong. I have beer favorites. I can drink wine. I love buying stuff for our home. Photography work by Gregory Colbert, Ashes and Snow. I can paddle a canoe. Why are rollercoasters not as scary as I remembered? I now enjoy watching boxing and mixed martial arts with Brian (I like Pride fighting more than UFC). I love dancing with my favorite dance parter evAr! I’m ecstatic that Michelle finally gave me her bibingka recipe. I think Steven Seagal’s Belly of the Beast movie is so bad that it’s worth watching. I wish I could sing or even karaoke, but sadly can’t. Big fan of Peter Cetera, Chicago, Def Leppard, Gipsy Kings, and Dido. I have always been enchanted by The Neverending Story. The Time Traveler’s Wife urged me to read again. I enjoy my morning bus commute along 57th Street here in NYC, amazed at all the big names I see (Prada, Gucci, Lladro, Louis Vuitton, etc) while I attempt to solve a Soduku from the free daily paper. I sit along the edge of a lake in Limerick, Maine, and wonder where life will lead me next........

I'd like to meet:

Old friends and classmates. My Lola in the Philippines. All my family members in the Philippines as well as here in the States. I miss all my cousins!! All the members of the Anolin clan...esp. PTB and Crap Attack! Arnel, Alicia, Cole, and Seth Racelis. I enjoy meeting people who are good-hearted, have a pretty open-minded and optimistic view of life, are appreciative of what they already have. Many of you are just that. Hope to see you soon! I miss Elanny!! Come back from Japan!!!
And BEAN!!!
