i'm cies. i don't talk a lot unless i'm drunk or or you hit a touchy subject. i'm a blog-whore. i love photography, although i still consider myself a newbie in taking photos. i play bass with the astropop 3. i used to say "for the astropop 3" but i think i've stuck around long enough to feel like my contribution is equal. i co-own a photography and design business w/ my husband and his brother. i never liked working for anyone else mostly because i have an authority problem and a deep hatred for corporate life/rules. i've played that game and realized no one really wins it no matter how high up the ladder you go. but entrepreneurship isn't for everyone either, so i've learned to bite my tongue and try to not be too preachy about it. i love people who are honest and follow their passions in life. but if you do those things and are a douchebag, i won't really like you - no amount of talent or good deeds can make up for being an asshole.
my husband is...too amazing for words. i have a 3 year old daughter who looks like her papa but is like me in personality (i'm imagining a lot of screamfights in her tweens and teens). married life w/ a kid isn't always easy, but always worth it. doing everything i do is tough and crazy, but i wouldn't trade it for any amount of money.
life is good. it's so good that i try to be thankful all the time, because it can all go away when i least expect it. i'm also learning, slowly and painfully, to let go of the people, habits and things that are toxic to myself and how i want to live my life.
