How I made my profile:
I used Dave & Jay's amazing myspace editor . We are a diverse group of musicians that live in the Austin, Tx area. The Train Stage Jammers started in Nathan's living room 7 years ago on a Thursday night. It started as a jam among a few friends. Those Friends and Nathan invited other friends that were pickers, singers, musicians and so on. We all have one thing in mind, playing music.Around 4 years into the Thursday night jam, Nathan's home became to small to host the amount of musicians and fans that were showing up. So Nathan with the help Jeff built the Train Stage one Sunday afternoon. It is situated in back of Nathan's yard with a train track 30 feet away. Hence the name. "The Train Stage Jammers".7 Years later, that same core group of musicians still play every Thursday. Thanks to Nathan; our playing, writing, singing and performing have gotten better. New friendships have been made. Lifelong friendships forged. We are blessed to live in a town like Austin and lucky to have each other.On any given Thursday, Nathan hosts 12- 25 musicians, sometimes more. Some Jammers have brought friends from all over the US. The Train Stage Jammers extended family include a cycling team from Canada that rides to Austin from Canada each year for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. They come each year to play and help make others aware of the fight against cancer and how music helps in the healing process.This is Who We Are!!!!
