sergeant pluck himself exists since 2000 and has recorded two albums and an ep. you may call the outcome hardcore pop with a certain singer/songwriter appeal. currently the project is on the road to promote the new album "we are but sometimes have been". get more info here:

Fast mehr eine Reiseempfehlung als ein Album legen Sergeant Pluck Himself auf den Tisch. "Manche der Songs wurden während einer Reise durch Skandinavien geschrieben, vielleicht ist es schön sie dort zu hören", steht im Booklet. Doch man muss nicht nach Skandinavien fahren um Sergeant Pluck Himself zu mögen. Was sie machen ist nicht neu, aber sie machen es gut. Zwölf Songs von Mitsumm-Melodie bis Gänsehaut-Erschleicher, zwischen Akustik-Gitarre und Piano. Man fühlt sich wohl mit diesen Jungs und ihrer Musik. Und am Ende bringt uns das wunderschöne "Polar Light" zumindest gedanklich ans Nordkap. (Bergmeier)
