Mind you, there are way more things to me than what I could possibly write about myself in this profile.

But for now..
+ Im 20 years old, of Filipino descent though I am completely Americanized, Ill tell you that.
+ I currently am a third year at the University of California, Irvine. majoring in studio art,media focus. double minor in digital arts. and possibly in 4matx. +my people in irvine make me =]
+my school activities other than academics[which need to soon become my priority] include being an active participant in kababayan, reppin' the rocksteady fams in tau theta pi, chillin' like a villain @ emokpet 1084, among other things.
+i'm very shy ..in front of a lot of people. but get to know me and i'll become one of the most random, accent-changing, spontaneous people you've ever met. i have my moments.
+urban and island culture.
+ I'm quite into everything tropical.
+i would like to breakdance.
+ if youre on campus, youll probably see me longboarding around [given none of those cops are around], teaching myself to carve the hills.[and hopefully not crashing into people]
+ music is my therapy. I also am an avid musician, when I have the time. I play the piano, clarinet, and am teaching myself the guitar. Who wants to jam? currently saving up for a sweet keyboard.
+Ive also had quite a long stint with martial arts. I want to get back into either Kung Fu or Aikido. for now, i'm content with wrestling with my little cousins slash reliving my aikido days through them.
+if I were to play stupid human tricks, Id cram my fist in my mouth. that's right.
+ i've got a large scar on my back because i had an operation when i was born....6 weeks early.
+I rep the bay erryuh ♥ more than ever now that Im down here in socal. let's get h-y-p-h-y, eh? =] I have family everywhere, though I wish I were closer to them.
+ I like hats, youll probably see me in one more than a few times a week.
+ theres more to me, but I dont know what else to write.
+ i've got a toy collection in my room @ emokpet. + i would like to learn how to breakdance, dj, be even more of a mac geek, surf, take pro pictures.....the list goes on.

My Interests

schoolwork, tahitian dancing (just started) , making movies, photography, urban art, music [piano, clarinet,geetar], dj-ing, dancing alone in my room, audiophile, martial arts. all constantly run on caffeine--even though i don't drink much coffee. i ♥ being random (around people i'm close with). also wanna learn to surf or snowboard.

I'd like to meet:

genuine people. old friends. new friends. friends that i've lost touch with. let's rendezvous. anyone that can teach me guitar, hiphop dancing, or to SURF. anyone who will be joining me at the only UC in the OC. and of course, you. drama-free people are always refreshing too.

Music:

lets just say i have a very ecclectic music taste.

my library consists of everything from rock, rap/hip-hop [it has to have beats], alternative, hawaiian/jawaiian, acoustic shiz, tagalog, neo soul [raphael saadiq, lucy pearl, koffee brown, etc.] r&b, anime music (samurai champloo!), classical [if string quartet tribute counts] is good to study to, disney music..aww heck, i like pop at times. leave me alone. hahaha. yeah, i listen to everything. a few artists that stick out: michelle branch,6th day, janet jackson, pinay, incubus, MAE, maroon 5, reynard silva, jasmine trias, keahiwai, JUSTIN young, spitalfield, pharrell/n.e.r.d., kanye, lifehouse, the wreckers, motion city soundtrack, binary star, tahiti 80 and hella more. hard core country tests my limits though.

like my music taste, my movie taste is all over the place. from sappy chick flicks (but then, i have to be in the mood to watch those) like love actually to great action movies like spiderman 2 [hell yes, good movie.], and the matrix, kinky movies like girl next door(those canadians. yep.), random movies with no plot like NAPOLEON DYNAMITE, movies that make me proud of my culture like THE DEBUT or lumpia, to any girl-ass-kicking movies like mulan. hahaha. anything with audrey hepburn. lilo and stitch is great of course too.

Books:

again, all over the place/ whatever's good. i'm always reading, but it's more appealing when its not required for school.

Heroes:

my parents for pushing me to be the best i can be.
my buddies and [huge] family. ferreal though they're my true heroes and influences.
grace anne alcaraz for being one of the strongest people i've known.
