About Me

BuszJan & the Musical Society is a band around Jan Van Reeth, he worked out ideas and songs coming from his live and adventures in and round his home (a 1972 VanHool/Fiat provincial-bus) on the roads of the universe. Last couple of years he's been recording a repertoire of Blues,Jazzy and Folky kind-off inspired songs together with befriended musicians.Some of these you can hear on this page! By now he formed a band together with Jouni (a fantastic Finnish Bassplayer) , Bart (a piano playing Sailor) and Serge ( a positive mind and drummer), did some shows and are planning some more in the near future! We 'll ensure you a entertaining show of pure soul-food and true musicianship.Enter into a world of "camels and whales on the plains", of "rockets to go and plant a tree" and just plain stories about how hard it is to stand by your (wo)man!! Sometimes quiet absurd, then more ironic in a way of self acceptance and suddenly more philosophical in a absinthe way!! -Serge also plays in the bands; "Danorax" & "Trio con fusion" -Jouni also plays in the bands;"Folia","Luiz Marquez & MezcaL" and many more -Jan & Bart also have a duo in which they do outlaw- and sailor-songs
