Um...On my free time I guess I could say that I am a gamer, although most gamers are actually really good at games...i'm not very good but I like games, haha. Every once in a while I read and sometimes pick up the guitar and try to learn a new song or two, but overall I'm just one of those people that can't really stay interested in one thing very long. I love to explore new things but I don't really stick to one thing. I'm a very science/math oriented person and tend to be pretty analytical. Even though I am more into science, I also enjoy art and for a first year art student as a senior I think I'm pretty good. I medaled recently in a state competition but sadly didn't make it past district, hahah. Even though I like art, I don't picture myself doing it on my free time, lol. I like to be at school for the sole reason of being able to be around people and socialize. If there is one thing that I can say I will always like, its basketball. Even though I don't play too frequently, it's something that I always find myself coming back to.
I listen to Rap, R&B, and Rock. My favorite musical artist by far has to be Seal. His music is great. I've always liked more "mellow" music, but recently I went through a stage in which I find myself obsessed with "mellow" music. I found myself listening to a whole lot of John Legend recently, but for the past two weeks I have come back to rock after about a year of not listening to it by my own choice. Lol, I got my dad a three days grace cd and since then have been listening to rock more often again.
Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny rocked my socks....movies are good....Red Vs. Blue Rules, although I doubt that the extreme amount of short flicks dont qualify as a movie...
I love House, Smallville, Bones, Heroes (STAN LEE RULES!!!), and Prison Break which saps my mind as I wait for the neverending show to come up with another twist as it drags out every minute....I keep up with American Idol and I like to watch Miami Ink sometimes. I even watch two chick-flickish night soaps (One Tree Hill and Ugly Betty). Overall, Prime Time T.V. is the T.V. for me. DVR rules too....
I enjoy reading but have a hard time figuring out my taste in books. I guess I like a multitude of books, nothing in particular. Im a big geeky Harry Potter fan and can't wait for book 7 (HP and the Deathly Hallows) to come out. I really enjoyed Angels&Demons and the DaVinci Code, both by Dan Brown. I also end up liking most books that I am required to read for school even though must people can't appreciate them (Les Miserables in particular was a great book). One book I would advise most people to stray away from would be The Picture of Dorian Gray; the book was very gloomy and dragged out the plot as it basically identified and studied the maturing of a very naive, handsome young man into a monster. He went from experiencing his first love to ruining peoples lives and sleeping around. This study on the pitfalls of man can definately be described as a downer....Yup, anyways, reading is good.
CAN'T WAIT FOR HP&tDH
Stan Lee is the Hero of all Heroes; he invented heroes for god's sake, hahaha. Marvel RULES.
