About Me

The story of the band Ledder Daze is a story of serendipity.
Ledder Daze, as it exists now, consists of four members with a classic rock setting of drum, bass, guitar and vocals. The band members met at the local youth club MG, short for Maegher Goet, where youngsters with a rock orientation spend their free time by drinking and talking.
The band members, acquaintances at the most, with some other musicians were asked to play a one-time gig on the “50 hours” weekend of the youth club. With less then a week before the gig, the obvious choice for songs where covers.
After the gig, the current band members, continued the band, chose the name Downward spiral, and got a second guitarist. Very soon after the founding of the band, we were chosen to do a tour along a series of youth clubs. Serendipity.
At this point, the band found itself ready to start being a real band and make its own songs. Downward Spiral, (is your) brain (comfortably in your head) and alcoholic soon followed.
At this point, the new guitarist, left the band. The band decided to continue with four and make a new start, changing it’s name in Ledder Daze. At this point, a demo was the obvious next step. By coincidence, we met someone from JP Sound, who wanted to help us. Serendipity. Recordings followed with the above result.
Now, we are, in between gigs, recording new material. Make sure to check from time to time our my space to hear new songs and new gigs. !
