Don't Get Drunk No More

About Me

"I love being a crazy old hillbilly and playing clawhammer banjo. Other than helping start the Grand Ole Opry, I spend my nights making up new and inventive songs, such as Bile Them Cabbage Down and The Coon That Had The Razor. I like long walks in the woods and killing medium sized woodland creatures, then parboil 'em, bake 'em brown."

My Interests

Create your own Friend Quiz here Banjo, banjo, banjo. Listening to good music(refer to the aptly named music section of this profile), visiting liveleak.com, existing, animals(love my pets), and everything else that if you know me that you know I do.

I'd like to meet:

Uncle Dave Macon, Stringbean, Granpa Jones, Anyone who has a still in East Tennessee, Anyone who plays banjo, Anyone who likes old Bluegrass and old time music. I would also love to meet Allison Krauss and Ricky Skaggs, so I could punch them both in the face for ruining my music.

Music:

I like anything, just about. Everything except new stuff. Pop sucks, rap's alright, everything else is good. I have even been known to rock out to some Journey. More specifically, however, I love the ole' five string melody as played by 1)Grandpa Jones 2)Uncle Dave Macon, and last but not least 3)Stringbean. Other than these fine fellows, I listen to Peter Tosh, Nasheeds, Sri rocks my socks, Saxon Shore and just anything that gets me to think.

Movies:

To be very broad, I like horror, science fiction, good comedy, documentaries, anything featuring Will Ferrell, Ben Stiller, or any of them types.

Television:

Invader Zim, Comedy Central, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld, It's Always Sunny In Philidelphia, LA City Morgue, Colbert Report, Adult Swim, Arrested Development. National Geographic, History Channel, and the Discovery Channel complete my trinity of educational television watching.

Books:

The Qur'an, History Books, Language Books, and Stephen King. Other than these, I rarely enjoy books since the "forced-reading system" implemented by the school has stabbed my love of books in the brain and cut it ear to ear.

Heroes:

Uncle Dave Macon is, of course, my biggest hero. He's the greatest dude ever. Second to him are Granpa Jones and Stringbean.
