About Me

Shadwell is a 5-piece, melodic modern rock band based out of Boston. Shadwell combines soaring lead vocals, tasteful guitars, textured keys, rich harmonies and rhythmically compelling bass and drums to create their all original music.
Late in 2006, with help from producer Tom Polce (CBS Records), Shadwell released their unabashedly pop, 5-song, self titled EP – Shadwell. Since that time, the band has been playing many of the best venues in the Boston area including The Tweeter Center, The Paradise Rock Club, The Middle East, TT the Bear’s, Lizard Lounge, and in NYC at Arlene’s Grocery and Pianos. Shadwell has graced the airwaves on several major market stations in Boston including WBCN 104.1FM and WXRV 92.5FM. In May of 2008, Shadwell was selected by Boston radio station KISS 108FM to play along with National acts at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, MA, and was also chosen to play the Main Stage at the 40th Walk for Hunger on the Boston Common.
Shadwell has been receiving comparisons spanning from contemporary Brit-rock heavies to straight ahead American rock, and continues to play venues in the Northeast area while writing new material. The band is currently negotiating with several producers as they prepare to record a full length album in late 2008 followed soon thereafter by a robust touring schedule.
