About Me

The 9th Ward

A collective of musicians and multi-media artists, The 9th Ward writes records and performs blues-rock based songs that draw inspiration from the people, places and events of their immediate surroundings—Lawrenceville’s 9th Ward neighborhood. The band’s sound has been described as “Bob Dylan's "Subterranean Homesick Blues" manhandled by Cream, Blue Cheer or Led Zeppelin when they were still young and hungry."

The songs on this page are live recordings.
