A sneak peek at what Andi's dream band might look like. This band is my favorite at the moment. LOVE this. And now we take a trip back, to a time when Andi worshipped Toni Halliday and her band Curve. I wanted to BE her. 15 years later and I still love this band.Best song off the Tank Girl soundtrack. Y-u-m. I love this song. One of my eighties boyfriends: Michael Hutchence. I wish Ewan would portray him in a bio pic. Just so he can do that *dance* shirtless in leathers. *growl*She heavily influenced my fashion sense forever. Plus, not that she's blatent or anything, but Siouxsie is a HUGE Marc Bolan fan too. *hehe*Down down down to a place of deep feminism. I present the brilliant Polly Jean Harvey. I am pretty sure I did that hair flipping thing while playing this song.Another brilliant powerful female singer, Poe...Here is another song I loved, from the early 90's. Anneli Drecker has an absolutely magical voice IMO.My musical muse, my alter ego, my beautiful Marc Bolan. If I were a boy, I would be Bolan. I still might have some of him in me. ;) 5'4" rockstar with a crazy mop of dark curls, great makeup and a love of velvet & loud, raw amplified guitar.A truly beautiful song and video by another vocal hero of mine, Elizabeth Fraser. In Homage to the strong influance on me of both Sarah McLachlan and my intense love of paining and art, I found this video on You Tube that someone named "Rose Scarlett" obvioulsy did a stunning job on. Plus "Fear" is one of my favorite songs.

I think if there's one song that encapsulates Andi, that I'd want to sing when I get married someday, that I'd want played instrumentally with piano and string section at my funeral, it is this one. I left behind so much pain to seek freedom, alone, to take that midnight train going anywhere, because even in the darkest of moments I've never stopped believing. :-) And that makes me burst with joy!The capper of course:
