Originally formed in Oct. of 2002, "Hard Rain" has consistently been one of the tri-state area's hardest working bands. Delivering high-energy performances to top clubs and venues throughout Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky. Through the years the band has been sponsored by Budweiser True Music, has opened up shows for several well-known classic rock acts including Bad Company, Dr. Hook, Molly Hatchet, The Little River Band, Great White, and Firehouse, and played major festivals and bike rallys to thousands of people including Hog Rock, HogRocktoberfest, Steamboat Festival in Peoria, IL, and The Old Shawntown Street Rally just to name a few. After undergoing several member and name changes, the band had finally split up in Aug. of 2006.
Now after some much needed time off, members Kenny Skaggs, Brent Rubsam, and Doc O'Dell are back together. With alot of talent, energy, and a diverse songlist spanning the hard hitting rock hits from the 70's through today, scorching blues, and driving originals. Hard Rain's back and ready to rock!
