About Me

I am a single 7th grade U.S./NV History teacher. I love kids and I like my job but I am still figuring out life, unsure about my next step. I am learning how to take each day as it comes and not concentrate so much on the BIG picture......I am like an egg. Hard on the outside, soft on the inside and at times tough to crack. According to the people that meet me I am scary until they get to know me and they realize I am just as insecure and screwed up as the next girl. Not just anyone can know my deep dark secrets. I will tell you how it is even if you don't want to hear it. I may be harsh at times but I love to make people smile. If you become someone I hold dear I will give you everything I have and then figure out a way to keep it coming. BUT if you cross me then you are DUNZO! That is me in a eggshell.Incubus - Drive

My Interests

Family, Friends, Church, Education, MUSIC, Shopping, reading, Movies, and making everyday one to remember.

I'd like to meet:

God, too many historical figures and current leaders to name, and my future husband...
Dave Mirra is BEAUTIFUL!..
I love the ocean. One day I will live by it...
This is my little bro's band check them out on MySpace!..
Speaking of little brother - we have always been Two peas in a pod.

Music:

I LOVE music! All kinds of it. Over the years my tastes have changed. Funny thing is, my musical slections will change as I am introduced to new music, I discover new artists, and I open up my mind to each song's possiblity BUT we all have our favorites and I like to ROCK OUT! However if I had to pick 5 songs to listen to for the rest of my life they would be... Incubus - Pardon Me, Jars of Clay - Icarus, U2 - One, Jason Marz - Song for a Friend, & Feverbox - Moving On.

Movies:

I love movies that make you think and mess with your mind like Momento, Fight Club and Saw. I hate scary movies unless I watch them in the middle of the day at my house with the lights on. The Little Mermaid is the BEST disney movie. Remember the Titans & A Time to Kill make me cry EVERYTIME. I will watch The Breakfast Club, Stepmom, Serendipity and Pretty Woman anytime there are on TBS even if I just saw it on TBS the day before.

Television:

I have one can't miss show - The OC. Other than that I guess I just watch whatever looks good and/or interesting at the time.

Books:

Summer is here and it is time to reflect on the year and focus on the insides this is why I have started Inside Out by Dr. Larry Crabb for my hour a day commitment.

Heroes:

Um...Jesus is my Savior that makes him pretty heroic!
