**TO PEOPLE WHO DON'T KNOW ME IN REAL LIFE, PLEASE READ:**
i do not use myspace to "meet" people - i barely have enough time to maintain my real-life relationships as it is without going onto my computer to write messages, leave comments, etc., with people whom i will never really know. so unless you already do know me in the real, non-cyber world, (or did at one time in the past - it's always nice to hear from old friends!) please don't bother trying to add me or message me or whatever - not to sound bitchy or anything but i just straight up do not have the time. peace.
eh. i know enough people, really...
but i can make room for this guy. yum.
and, it goes without saying - joaquin phoenix? yes, please!!!
if i ever see this guy on the street (and it could happen, ok? apparently he does live close by!) - i am LOSING IT, people!!!! it's sad. i am like a 16 year old girl with an "actor-crush". yeah. i admit it. i am lame. i am in love with him, ok!!! (i'm fairly positive i'll be deleting this soon!... chuckle)
ok, so... i'm dead. i've lived a good, honest (mostly), non-evil life. so i get to go to heaven. yay! presently, i realize i need to take a piss. i open the door to heaven's john, and...
aaah, heaven. you didn't let me down!
look at how cute he was
he melts my heart...
listen to him - it does
a body ~and soul~ good.
i can listen to, and enjoy, pretty much everything except maybe hardcore gangsta rap, and even then it's cool if it's kinda funny. mostly i love the beatles - ***COCTEAU TWINS*** (the beauty they create is so beyond aural) - pink floyd - abba - sublime - the smiths (although, i admit i haven't really listened to them for the past 10 or so years. i have kind of outgrown it all. yet i still hold them dear in a nostalgic way - they really came in handy for me during adolescence! please forgive me, morrissey! i'll always have a special place for you in my heart!) - jim croce - duran duran - bob dylan - the sundays - cat stevens - no doubt - soft cell - 70's rock (skynard, heart, etc...) - 80's new wave - sappy folk music - eminem - patsy cline - queen - the cure - fleetwood mac - beastie boys - marty robbins - elvis - nina simone - sinatra - i like to listen to the phantom of the opera (original cast recording beeyotch!) i know every single word to every single song - classical (with leanings towards tchaikovsky)- john denver (seriously) - blondie - REM - ELO - OMD - tori amos (when she's not being too whiny) - david bowie - the chameleons - AMY WINEHOUSE!!! - as you can see, i'm all over the map here... yet still well within a general time frame that could very well be considered a "time warp" as none of the music i listen to on a regular basis (with very few exceptions) is post-1995ish. sad. i guess i'm old.
we could go on and on...... i love it all. when i have a crapload of time on my hands one day, i'll come back here and enter some faves. but let me just say right here and now - if you don't like Moulin Rouge!, we can't be friends. ever.
what do you get from a glut of tv?
a pain in the neck and an iq of 3.
why don't you try simply reading a book,
or could you just not bear to look?
YOU'LL GET NO COMMERCIALS!!!
are good
not so much...
