i don't have a tv and that's a good thing except for those times when i wish i could numb my brain and tell my thoughts to shut the hell up. TV is good for that. It makes my mind "recoil in horror" and uncapable of own-thought, generally. Other times i over-analyze (if that is actually possible) everything i'm seeing on the screen and formulate ideas of what's really going on in regards to what the screen is showing me, telling me, and is trying to make me think. And then other times still, i liked to watch tv with the sound off and music playing. it made it 1) easier for me to still maintain a thought process and 2.) not become overly concerned with what ever might be on the screen. ALWAYS MUTE THE COMMERCIALS
