Representing 118 Avenue, or "The Dirty Boulevard", as it's known in Northside Edmonton, is the legendary hip hop group, Won 18.
Co-created in 1998 by frontmen Rellik and Plex, the group set the standard for Edmonton's hip hop scene. Backed by several artists over the years, members have included Billy Blackout, Lase, Brandon Brown, Tanner Lane and Sundance.
Won 18 has at least 200+ shows under their belts and still continue to collaborate. They plan to release a follow up to the gritty "Won 18 - The Dirty Boulevard," early 2009.
Solo releases are expected in 2008 starting with Plex's long awaited New Leaf LP. Rellik and Brandon Brown will release their solo efforts immediately thereafter.
