12 neat young people from a place you wouldn't even think there exists something like a dancefloor. The Truth is: Since the 15th June '07 Weiden, in the uppest of the Upper Pfalz is fighting for the title as the funkiest funktown on the planet. The sexiest motherfuckers dress up and show them geeks how to break it down - because: dancers have the better sex.
The guy's eye gets our three charming ladies on the vocals: Anika Ram, Lena Lobenhofer, Katharina Stark and the lady's eye our goldicious singer and keyboard-player: Christian Gold.
Our four funky fellas on their horny horns will make you feel fabulous: Lorenz Bergler on the altsaxophone, Johannes Brem on the trumpet, Thorsten Willecke on the trombone and Paul Marx on the tenor-/baritonesaxophone.
The geniuses of the groove will satisfy your feet: Fabian Liedl on the bass, Tobias Gurdan on the drums and Max Fleischmann & Sebastian Hartung on the guitars.
And Paul Marx knows how to pull the strings, not just in organisation issues but also as a disc jockey: He will get the party started and let you freak out after the whole band have sent your ears in a heaven-like place.

The exciting first year 2007:
A bored jazz combo of the Franz-Grothe-Musicschool -- watching "The Commitments", a film about a irish workingclass soulband -- the idea of a own funkband was born -- searched for horns/vocals -- found a tenorsaxophonplayer -- he found the rest of the horns and a singer -- singer had to leave -- nice swap: 3 female vocals entered -- 15th June -- first day of the band weekend -- first rehearsal with the complete band -- Introduced in a world of music with soul by Klaus Luther and learned to hear on each other while playing -- worked with his help on the first songs for our first concert -- 12th July -- first concert -- great feedback -- only two weeks left 'til the next concert -- had to rehearse 5 new songs -- stress -- interior problems about the structure of the band -- 2nd concert on 26th July -- success and new perspectives solved the problems -- stagnation in the vacation -- signed up for a band contest -- worked hard for it -- 13th October -- we won!! -- amazing public reaction -- 964 visitors! -- 2 weeks left 'til the first paid club concert -- needed 8 songs for a complete program -- dancing crowd and sold out club -- first experiences in a record studio -- charity concert against fascism with great athmosphere -- 8th december -- final of the bandcontest -- played an amazing show for over 1200 visitors with special guests and other features -- didn't won though had most visitor votes -- 22nd demceber -- supportband of the new Popstars from Pro 7: Room 2012 -- nice guys but boring audience -- good press reaction and first conference -- amazing year 2007!
The mission just has started - Year 2008:Decided to make our own songs and to move the people - not just on the dancefloor..
