About Me

I was born in the 1970's. Being a member of Violent Society (Punk hardcore band)was a significant part of my life for 13 years. I have also played guitar/sang/bass/keyboards with Lynching Party, When In Roam, The Vote, The Sykes,Hanging Chad and was the fill-in bassist with FOD for a European tour(which was amazing, they are one of my favorite bands)- I have toured the US and Europe many many times and love to travel. At one time I co-owned a record store/label and have worked at various record labels (Relapse records). I enjoy recording music regularly on an 8track. The music I write on my own is very 80's / early 90's influenced, ala Public Image Limited, Ween, Sex Pistols and Joy Division. Last year, I "retired" from performing to concentrate on school, which has become a full-time investment for me. Im looking forward to graduating and starting up the rock again.

My Interests

History, Corydoras and Dwarf Gouramis, recording sound, small mirror-sets made in Mexico, art, photography, Portland (east or west), Germany, NYC, Green revoultions, NPR (this American life!), reading and collecting books, and dive bars.

Too many to list. I collect early 20th century/late 19th books. Especially ones with dedications inside the front covers.

Heroes:

Fish who defy odds. Hans and Sophie (White Rose/Munich). Howard Roark.
