Loud Youth

A hardcore punk band from CT and NY!

About Me

Loud Youth started in the summer of 2003 as 4 relatives, 3 brothers and their cousin, with dreams of rock n' roll. The band played original music and recorded with a tape player. Though the tapes are gone, the band has recently recovered many old tracks.
Anyways, in 2004, the band started getting more serious, with the first "official" name, Paradise Of Misery.
In 2005 we recorded a few tracks and started playing more often, getting more interested in music. But by the end of the year, the band split up. The band then reformed, switching Evan onto guitar as well as bassand keys. The distinction of the tracks depends on the song. Some songs are lead guitar by Evan, some bass, some keys, but all vocals are done by me [Evan] with backing vocals from Sam and Will.
We started recording a bunch of tracks one day and compiled them all together on "A Bunch Of Crappy Home Demos". Later, we found 5 of our oldest tracks and one new track and created "DEMO EP".
We were getting so focused on the band that we decided to record a few 'better' tracks. By the end of this recording frenzy, we had "Project PAIN"
We have just recently recorded 2 tracks, "Falling" and "Drugs" which are on our 4th 'official' album, "Drugs-Single".
This summer break, we are to record our 5th 'official' album, "People Suck EP" with Incas Records, who have recently signed us.
If you have read this, you have way too much time on your hands or you have a good reason. I obviously have too much time because I typed it!
