Roger Moore originally born Oriel Johnson on May 12 in Clarendon, Jamaica. He grew up in Downtown, Kingston, Montego Bay and Linstead. He got involved in music at the age of 9 when he entered a local talent show and won. He was encouraged by his friends to pursue a career in music, which he did.His musical journey as a conscious Reggae artiste took him to Montego Bay where he worked with numerous sound systems in the area. At this time he made a name for himself by making appearances on many large stage shows where he was heard by one of Jamaica's producers, Top Ranking who produced his first two singles: Dub to Dub and One Day Loving. On his first album he worked with producers such as: Rockers Masters, Super Love Soul Provider, Marzouca, Bunny Diamond and also Hopeton Lewis.In 1993 he moved to Canada, where he now resides and still continues to make music and performs live. He released his latest album The Return of Roger Moore in 2002 with songs such as: I Man Perogative, Move Funny, Deliver Me and Starting All Over Again. We are in the midsts of the comeback of one of Jamaica's best reggae artistes, Roger Moore
