About Me

In a Nutshell... "The choice is always ours. Then, let me choose
The longest art, the hard Promethean way
Cherishingly to tend and feed and fan
That inward fire, whose small precarious flame,
Kindled or quenched, creates
The noble or the ignoble men we are,
The worlds we live in and the very fates,
Our bright or muddy star." --Aldous Huxley By democratic process, the idea of America is failing. I'm just a guy who notices.
I like music and art and theatre. I hate mediocrity and banality. Do you like to think for yourself? Come talk with me... Question authority? We'll get along just fine...
"You see things as they are and ask 'Why?' I dream of things which never were and ask 'Why not?'" --George Bernard Shaw
"Never ascribe to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity." --Hanlon's Razor
"Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent." --Isaac Asimov
"You must be the change you want to see in the world." --Gandhi Um, yeah, that's it, for now... but don't be shy, drop me a line.

My Interests

Your Brain's Pattern
Your mind is a firestorm - full of intensity and drama.
Your thoughts may seem scattered to you most of the time...
But they often seem strong and passionate to those around you.
You are a natural influencer. The thoughts you share are very powerful and persuading. What Pattern Is Your Brain?

Your Birthdate: September 16
You're incredibly introverted and introspective. You live inside your head.
You spend a lot of alone time meditating and thinking.
People see you as withdrawn, and at times they are right.
You are caring and deep, but it may be difficult for you to show this side of yourself.

Your strength: Your original approach to thinking
Your weakness: You tend to shy away from others
Your power color: Pale blue
Your power symbol: Wavy line
Your power month: July What Does Your Birth Date Mean?
Perhaps, if the feeling strikes you, you might buy one of my t-shirts .

I'd like to meet:

Music:

TOOL, Radiohead, Pink Floyd. MUSE, ,Nine Inch Nails, Wilco, Buchanan, Wonderlove, Deccatree, Brett Bixby, Pawnshop Kings, CPO, Greg Laswell. Chemical Brothers, Rage Against the Machine, Crystal Method, Underworld. Damien Rice, Ray LaMontagne.

Television:

If there are any shows worth watching, wait for them to come out on dvd. Turn off the idiot box.

Books:

If you haven't read Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, you need to drop what you are doing and go fucking read it. Neal Stephenson is rapidly becoming one of my new favorite authors. Check out The Baroque Cycle. Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials is also pretty good.
I also highly suggest Stephen King's Dark Tower novels, George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire and anything written by William Shakespeare, Tom Robbins, and Chuck Palahniuk.
If you're an artist, pick up The Outsider by Colin Wilson. It's definitely a must read...
