Myspace Contact TablesThe Music-Theatre Group Opera is a theatre group that has its head offices in Athens. It was formed in order to promote research, training and spreading of music- theatre by means of performances, seminars, workshops, invitations of new directors and composers and through the realization of co-productions with international groups having similar interests.
It consists of 9 young artists who joined their forces in order to deal with the music-theatre thoroughly and at great length.
The particular feature of our performances is that various elements such as speech, music, singing and dancing do not obey to a certain hierarchy.
Furthermore, the continuous interaction of these elements offers new, rich in content and variety, expressive images.
All the performances of the group were welcomed and praised by both public and critics.
