If Epcot Center Were A Person

About Me

Optimistic, funny, cheerfully sarcastic, and if I'm not careful I'll lecture on and on interminably; but just remind me and I'll stop. I get combative when presented with dogmatism or new age, but if you don't go there neither will I. I have one divorce and no children. On Yudkowsky's Future Shock scale I rate a 3. I participate in running all-volunteer not-for-profit science fiction conventions. The Uber-Algorithm says with 72% probability that compared to males my age, I'm more literary, capitalistic, pure and independent than most, and I'm less adventurous, spontaneous and loving than most. My Interests

reading, abstract strategy board games, real-time strategy, coffee shops, advanced technology, animation, clay animation, science fiction conventions, Epcot Center, Apple Computing, moldmaking/casting, Asian cooking, special effects

I'd like to meet:

As many people as possible, who: discuss science fiction books that have a crunchy technological coating and a chewy philosophical center; or make artwork; or make moldmaking and casting projects; or play the Japanese game of Go; or play chess variants; Not restricted to the above! I'd like to make friends with people who are funny or informative or just all-around fun. I'm especially attracted to creativity and intelligence, (but I can fit most people in somewhere). I don't like reading poetry but I found that I do like poets a lot.
