Music:

I listen to a lot of stuff, and not in a narrow category either. Dream Theater, Sarah McLachlan, Jimmy Eat World, Michelle Branch, Tonic, Crossfade, Joshua Bell, Third Eye Blind, Fear Factory, REEF, NOFX, Metallica, Linkin Park, Evanescence, Butthole Surfers, Alien Ant Farm, Alice Deejay, DJ Caffeine, Atreyu, FERMATA ( A MAD-CITY BASED BAND, MY BUDDY PLAYS GUITAR IN IT, CHECK "EM OUT!!), Megadeath, Dogwood, Prodigy, Robert Miles, No Doubt, Hanson, Modest Mouse, Coheed and Cambria, Counting Crows, some Dave Matthews, Orgy, Vanessa Carlton, My Chemical Romance, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Caroline Spine, Damien Rice, Joseph Arthur, The Offspring, Static-X, Stone Temple Pilots, Soul Asylum, Toad the Wet Sprocket, R.E.M., Zebrahead, 3 Doors Down, Aerosmith, Bush, Five for Fighting, Lo Pro, Mudvayne, Primitive Radio Gods, Spin Doctors and tons more that I can't remember right now. So yeah, lots of variety ('cept country).

Movies:

Indiana Jones: All of them, The Goonies, The Shawshank Redemption, Unbreakable, Signs, Lady in the Water, Braveheart, Vanilla Sky, Mirrormask, Big Fish, Any Jim Carrey movie, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Gramdma's Boy, The 40-year old Virgin, Donnie Brasco, Donnie Darko, all Spiderman movies (some people say I look like Tobey Maguire), Sweet November, Kill Bill vol. 1&2, Sin City, Flight of the Navigator, some anime like Berserk and Wolf's Rain, Back to the Future Trilogy, and tons of others.

Television:

I don't watch too much TV, but Family Guy is one of my signature shows. Anyone who can hit the nail on the head so many times about so many things, and still make them hilarious is just genious. Aqua Teen Hunger Force, because it's too stupid NOT to like. The Science Channel rocks, because I enjoy l-e-a-r-n-i-n-g. It doesn't hurt and it makes me do something besides absorb radiation from that little black box. * Ah. (Stares at TV from 2 inches away) Sterility.*

Books:

Terry Goodkind all the way, man. No one person has affected my life more positively than this one author. His messages in his books are so profound, as well as touching, that all you can do is nod your head and say, "That's totally right." He always hits the nail on the head. For any of you out there who might be having a tough go at life, I strongly suggest picking up one of his books, preferrably his first, and try to get the message a.s.a.p. It'll change you for the better.

Heroes:

GEORGE W. BUSH!! No wait, that's totally wrong. He's an idiot. Terry Goodkind first and foremost. He has shown me that if you're not happy, change it, because it's completely in YOUR POWER!! My high school art teacher Mrs. Robkin....what can I say? You're the best. John Whitney, former Art Prof at UW-Baraboo...you've given me the passion to succeed and to continue striving for more than what's on the page. Jon Koschoreck, friend, confidant, and all around good guy, (a.k.a. Capt. Comeback/Sarcasm)....a friend who you can always count on even if he can't count on you. I still owe ya' man. Michelle Robinson, don't change for anyone, AND I MEAN IT DAMMIT!, my bro Casey, for standing up for yourself and just doing the stupidest crap i would only think about doin. Tim Roznos, for being a great friend throughout life and doing what he can to defend our country. I gotta tell ya, I feel sorry for anyone who would get in this guys way. Jake Sulik, for being someone who has made me laugh for the 20 + years I've known you. You don't know how very special you are.

Ahh, sand

So Hawaii is great so far.  Today Tim and i met up with some of his friends at a place called Sandy Beach.  I thought it was called that on account of it being a fairly long beach.  But...
