A few years ago, I hated what I was doing and where I was going. So I quit my job moved to Montreal and studied audio engineering at Trebas. After completion of my schooling and internship, I moved home for a few months to regroup. My next destination in mind was Toronto. So I moved on February 28th, 2003 and I spent two years playing in a few bands, working the odd gigs here and there. Then one night at the Horseshoe tavern, I decided to return to my roots. I was disgusted by the lack of attention an amazing band received and decided to move back to Halifax where I knew people appreciated a great show.Upon my return to Halifax I jammed with many brilliant musicians and began to work at Mud Records Studio in Bridgewater, NS. Due to circumstances out of my control, the studio idea fell through. Music was good, but no one had time to be dedicated, so I returned to the wonderful city of Montreal to see what could happen. But the one week of vacation I had before moving, made me realize the city I needed to be in was truly Toronto. So I moved back and tried to step into the music scene again. It was not working so well. Until one day I seen an ad online for ITTA. International Tour Tech Academy. So after a few visits, I moved to Hamilton Ont. I have been loving it ever since.Hamilton's music scenes is exactly where i need to be. School is based here which is also phenomenal. Working at the Casbah is great and is mostly how I have been able to meet so many great musicians and talented bands.
