Misha Iliev (born on 2 March 1977 in Novocherkask, Russia) is a Bulgarian pop and rock singer. His career started with several school bands. In 1995 he became the lead singer of Ekzitus, a band well accepted by Bulgarian radio stations in the late 90’s. The song “Syrceto mi ot kamyk e” (“My Heart is made of stone”) kept the No. 1 position of the Bulgarian Top 100 for six weeks. After the band split up in 2002, Misha Iliev, together with two other band members – Dimitar Hetemov – violin, and Andro Stubel- songwriter and guitar, proceeded with different acoustic projects mainly in Sofia and Sozopol. They also participated in several TV shows.In August 2005, Misha Iliev and Dimitar Hetemov went to Prague, the Czech republic, where together with some Czech musicians they created the formation Parfido. They had concerts in Lucerna Hall and on “Staromestske Namesti ” square. They also played at local clubs such as “Guru”, “Admiral”, “Staropramen” and others. At the beginning of 2007 Misha Iliev returned to Bulgaria and began his solo career, supported by Andro Stubel- songwriter and Bobby Zasheff – guitar player and arranger.
