About Me

I think it's about time I upgraded this seeing as a bit has changed since I last wrote this.I own my own house which i used to live in with a mate of mine...but just moved out and living elsewhere now. Still in Whyalla though...unfortunately.I had been working the pub scene for the last 5 years now and got completely sick of it, so I got out of the industry. I'm an apprentice electrician for Onesteel now and it's probably the best move I could've made. I do miss working with my friends at the Eyre though. Now that I get weekends off and don't have to work nights I've gotta adjust my lifestyle which i'm finding a bit hard. Getting sick of just drinking at the pub...think i'm gonna save up for an overseas holiday

My Interests

Sports...except for the soft non-contact ones. Catching up with friends on the weekend. Movies and music. If Whyalla had a better beach with some waves I would spend a lot of time there...but there is nothing but seaweed and crabs. Like playing a bit of poker every now and then. Going out for tea when I can. I'm also a nerd who enjoys the odd crossword too.

I'd like to meet:

Steve Waugh (cricket)...shake his hand and tell him he's a champ. All of the Swans (AFL)...have a beer with the lot of em', best team goin' round. I also really wanna see Whitley live again...they were great last time i seen them.

Music:

Bit of everything depending on mood, time, and level of intoxication. I'm a big fan of Australian music at the moment though. The Panics, Whitley, Jet, Wolfmother, Powderfinger, Silverchair, Goteye, INXS, Chisel, Noiseworks, and others. Like a bit of Audioslave, Incubus, Live, Pearl Jam, The Prodigy, theres too many to name them all!!

Movies:

Love movies that are a bit out there like Donnie Darko, which is a classic. Love all movies by M Shyamalan (eg Sixth Sense), and movies by Tarantino...he's a master. Will also watch any movie a decent actor or actress that I like.

Television:

Don't watch much telly to be honest, rather throw on a CD. But I do like Heroes, Simpsons, and Supernatural. Otherwise sport.

Books:

Biographies of sport players is about all i read at the moment...cant sit down long enough to read a book...hit the crosswords hard though.

Heroes:

No heroes...no point trying to emulate someone else when ya can be putting that effort into bettering yaself. Unless your talking about unsung heroes like the Salvos and volunteers.
