I got into to reading the beat genre of books a while back & they've got so much to tell. There's no embelishments or exaggerattions, just good ol' fucked up situations painted into the most perfect preverbial "T", you can basically just watch it as movie in your head because it's so well written, play out in your head as you read it & get hooked, so now... I'm'a sucker fer'em!
