The Story Behind Sevrin:
Straight from the Dallas & North Houston areas hails an all original Alternative/Metal quartet striving to make a difference in the music scene today, and a name for themselves everywhere, setting their sights on giving the Alternative Rock scene a long-awaited facelift. With a full throttle, powerful, in your face music and aggressive yet melodically-structured vocalsSevrin has succeeded in creating their own original sound. Blending their unique melodies, creative, hard-hitting grooves and transitions, with a blazing stage performance that never fails to impress, the band supplies an element of versatility and entertainment that easily sets them apart from others involved in the music scene today.
The band, known for giving the crowd blistering stage shows to accompany their music, continues to receive overwhelmingly positive reactions to their performances throughout Houston venues as well as those in the surrounding areas. Anyone that hears Sevrin's music or sees the quartet live agrees that Sevrin is an instant hit, just as fun to watch as to hear. The band's following increases exponentially at every show as the Sevrin Army fan base quickly grows.
on July 27th 2005, SEVRIN proved their strong presence in the industry, on both local and regional levels, by winning the prestigous 2005 Houston Press Music Award as "BEST METAL BAND" (View Article) affirming their strong domination of the local music scene and the amazingly loyal and ever-growing following that they had created in less than a year. The band was also interviewed recently by Houston's premier newspaper, The Houston Chronicle , who published an article in the paper describing Sevrin as one of Houston 's hottest up and coming Rock acts -

The band's highly anticipated 1st EP titled "Alone" was released on April 8th 2005 at Fitzgerald's where hundreds of Sevrin fans had turned out in support of the band's CD release party. Plans for a full-length debut album release in the near future are already under way, fueling many additional performances to come for the band.
