I'm very blessed, I got to meet the person I most wanted to meet, Val Kilmer. I'm always hoping for another opportunity,I've had a few, and they were all very precious to me. The most recent time was Nov. 2007. So that just happened and made me very happy. So happy in fact it made my whole holiday season more joyful this year.
Check out Val Kilmer's Music Myspace!
Everything from rock concerts to the Santa Fe Opera. Right now I'm particularly fond of the music Val Kilmer is making with his friend Mick Rossi.
I love movies except horror ones, but I did manage to watch Mindhunters. I own every movie that Val Kilmer has made. This one came out on March 18th.A new movie Felon is coming out on DVD on August 12. Looking forward to that!
Isn't that big screen just for watching movies on DVDs? I don't watch much TV programming except for Entourage and Moonlight. And any of the rare TV appearances by Val Kilmer. I really enjoyed Comanche Moon, but now I don't anticipate any reason to watch TV for quite some time to come. Unless of course Val continues to do the voice of KITT. Then I will end up watching Knight Rider this fall. Also Val will be in a miniseries event in January called XIII on NBC according to one article I read.
I used to be a librarian, so I collect books, mostly non-fiction. New Mexico history, Billy the Kid books, spirituality, Greek myths especially, biographies (last one I happened to read was about Oliver Stone).
My daughter, a Santa Fe veterinarian, specializing in vet dentistry. She recently opened the first and only vet denistry specialty clinic in New Mexico. My father, still married to my mother after 62 years. He's a WWII vet, a Marine who fought at Guadal Canal and all across the Pacific. And his hardest battle is now caring for my mother with Alzheimer's. He once told me he had thought Guadal Canal would be the hardest thing he ever faced in his lifetime, but he recently told me watching my mother's mind go is harder. It made me cry.
