I have been a musician my entire life that I can remember. This year is my 20th anniversary as a guitarist and 15th as a working musician. After working in the Midwestern music scene with bands like REDLINE, FREAKSHOW and STONE SOUR, I spent the last 10 years in a limited support capacity. Usually this was in promotion and booking.
About four years ago I was approached by FACECAGE to help them with their business and to work towards getting them to the next level. I saw the potential of FACECAGE and I came on board. Their hard work ethic and artistic talent, combined with my experience and knowledge, had been a very productive partnership. FACECAGE moved onward and upward in the summer of 2007
The (515) Group is no longer involved in artist management but is still involved in music related projects in Des Moines and throughout the greater Midwest region
I believe bands in the Midwestern/Great Plains region should have an alternative to moving to the coasts for recognition. I believe there is a definite demand for services like business management, promotion, and artist development here in the region.
