Everyone gets common courtesy from me, but NO ONE gets respect from me until they earn it.The people that matter in life are the fighters, the ones who do what needs to be done and don't bitch about it later. I have no respect for people who whine about where they are in life and don't do what it takes to change it. Respect goes to the ones who do what has to be done and show the self respect that they've earned. No one respects those who whine about hardship. Everyone respects those who accomplish through the hardship. About me: I'm different. Yes, I have fangs. No, they do not come out. No, I do not think I am a vampire. I like necks and I like to bite. So help me, I will bitch slap the next hypocritical little girl with a tongue ring that bugs me about them. Yes, I am single. No, I am far from desparate. I am quick witted, well written, and smooth spoken. My friends always have my back and they know I have theirs. I am passionate, and never boring.And just to show you all how much I love my bitches: VIVA LA DREAMCAST!

My Interests

Travel, social dynamics, music, books, and rope.

I'd like to meet:

People who understand pride. People who can contribute, and not just mooch. People I can treat as equals. As bitter as it may sound, I've come to the conclusion that most people just don't rate that high. Those that do have a friend for life.

Music:

Recent listening: Celldweller, Mindless Self Indulgence, Venus Hum, American Hi-Fi, Rush. Overall collection: Eclectic, very eclectic. Any good drum'n'bass or house music is always a good start (Best shows ever: Digweed and Sasha at Big Easy's two years ago, Tiesto at the Gorge) Pretty Hate Machine, Spacehog, Sting, Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Offspring, Juno Reactor, Rammstein, The Orb, Aerosmith, Poe, No Doubt, New Order, Depeche Mode, Dokken, any good guitar metal (Guilty Gear X soundtracks are awesome), gigs and gigs more. Recent additions: Neurotic Fish

Movies:

Any and all. Tops: Army of Darkness, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, The Crow, Momento, any Kevin Smith films, any Tim Burton films, American Beauty, Amelie, and I'm sure tons of others I can't think of off hand.

Television:

Blech. My TV exists only for the crap I plug into it. I don't watch TV. If theres a show I want to see, Ill get the DVD set or download it.

Books:

Currently reading: 'The Pessimist's Guide to History'.
Well worn out books: Spellfire, Modern Man's Guide to Life, Snow Crash, Ender's Game, Neuromancer.

Heroes:

Isaac Asimov - Amazingly smart man with a solid grasp on all the implications of modern science and a talent for explaining them simply and well.
Warren Buffet - Another smart man, in the field of money.
"Amazing" Randi - skeptic and magician, fighting thanklessly against the evils of superstition and psuedo-science.
