Back home in the suburbs of sweet home Chicago. It's nice to be back =) But I will always miss Florida and my JVille buddies. I know we'll all meet up again soon! For now, just taking things as they come. No pressure to do much except go to back to school, finish, and have more babies. Just kidding. Sort of ;-) I'm blessed with a little girl who is intelligent and pretty low maintenance as far as kids go! She amazes me every day. It's her first year of school and I can't wait to go on field trips and make lunches and all that good stuff! And I'm blessed with a husband who supports everything that I do, except when I get him lost on the road but that is usually his fault anyway. He's my number one fan and I don't think I'd have the determination to do everything I want to do if it weren't for him. I love my family and am thankful that they're always there for me. I couldn't ask for better friends, always there to make me laugh or comfort me when I have buyer's remorse =) Now that I'm home and not working I probably have no excuse not to train. Race to the Taste, Muddy Buddy and Chicago Distance Classic are all on my agenda. After that, we'll see if I'm ready for my first 26.2! Sounds brutal already... Trying to take up bicycling with my hubby because he swears he could be the next Lance Armstrong. And maybe do some canoeing this summer. Funny being back home, we've only lived here for most of our lives but only now do we want to do everything there is to do in Chicago. Every day is a new adventure for the Haddows, and I love every minute of it!
