Working out, eyeballs, travelling, reading, hanging out with friends, music. things i like: nice teeth, people who smile a lot, good hugs, great conversation, people who make me laugh, good singers, guitar players or anyone who can play an instrument well, going to see live music, funny stories, people who are ambitious, people who get my jokes, honesty, people who smell good, tall men, integrity, people who call or text just to say hi, cookouts, when someone does something small just to show me that he cares. things i don't like: when people need to clear their throat but keep talking anyway, bad tooth to gum ratios, ex-girlfriends who won't go away, people who use their/there/they're, your/you're, to/two/too, where/wear, hear/here, etc wrong, clear bra straps (come on girls- they are clear, not invisible), limp handshakes, jerseys in public (unless you are actually going to a game), pretentiousness, when guys wear short shorts, bad glasses, visible nosehair, dishonesty, immaturity, insincerity, dishonesty, when people call me maam, (did i mention dishonesty?) when people have the "crack nail"- that long pinky fingernail, puns, when i say "which is better, one or two? and my patient says "three," when people say "schwartz creek" instead of "swartz creek."

tv? who has time for tv? thank god for tivo- i don't remember the last time i watched something in real time. shows i like: nip/tuck, grey's anatomy, american idol, sex and the city, seinfeld, lost, and scrubs (but scrubs is so much more fun if i'm watching it with rob- somehow, it's much more funny if someone is there to laugh with you).
i have spent so many years studying and reading biology textbooks that i can only handle books that are easy to read and don't require much thought now. i like nicholas sparks, ps i love you, conversations with the fat girl, memoirs of a geisha, etc. i am addicted to magazines- people, cosmo, us weekly, glamour... it's sad, but if you ask me about any current events, if it hasn't been in people or us weekly, i usually don't know about it. sounds bad, but my job is stressful enough without hearing all of the bad news in the world.
