About Me

Born and raised in Baltimore, Acuity has adapted his style from that of a young MC to an accomplished and strong lyricist. Writing with influences from Nas especially, Mobb Deep, Wu-tang, Rakim not to mention Jay-Z, his style is one that stands out in the crowd amongst the imitators that visualize success over fast cars and women, Acuity has a message that is meaningful for the youth and old heads alike. Lyrical he is oil to the water that is mainstream rap; set apart. This up and coming artist has something to say that many people would be interested to hear. When you listen to songs like Passing It By,and Dropping Science you can tell his deep thoughts are conveyed through his music. Combing rap with spoken word, specifically in the song Soul, he proves himself to be another rebel desperately trying to bring hip hop back. Acuity has always been known as the type to pick up the mic at any event he may happen to attend and spit a few bars that make a statement. Acuity grew up with, and also collaborated with Tha Scholars, and young Ducki; some of the B-mores artists and new comers with a very promising future. And also has worked with some of the cities biggest Rap legends and producers Skarr Akbar, Raylugar of Team Fifty, Reggie, and Karize of Banging Beats.
