Pierre Omer has been a member of the Dead Brothers for the past ten years since the band first started in 1997 and until the split in early 2007. He sings plays guitar accordion keyboards and a few other specialities.
He now started playing solo shows and he also put a new band togother... The Tango Club!
He composes music for theater plays, dance pieces and films. In 2007 in Madrid he wrote the score to the film "Casual Day" by spanish director Max Lemcke. In the past years he has written music for plays directed by Meret Mater in the SchauspielHannover, Schauspielhaus Zürich, Schlachthaus Bern. In Geneva he is involved with the theatre group Sphinx. He wrote the music for "Una Tierra de Felicida" a dance piece by spanish choregrapher Louisa Merino.
He's been or is in other bands like Les Collègues Pasha, VRIL and Les Motrices Sessions. Lately he has been working and having fun with the band Mama Rosin (producing their first album, released on voodoorhythm records). Together they operate also as "La Famille Souchet", including a few other members and playing rock'n'roll trance and tropicall music.
You'll find him occasionaly behind the decks playing his favorite blend of blues rock'n'roll and tropicall records under the names dj Pierre or The Hoodoo Sound System.
