I like Hellboy and the BPRD. Great reading. Oh, and the man, the myth, the legend himself...
I also enjoy games, mostly Shooters and good RPGs. I HATE MMO's (!!!) and I'm not a huge fan of internet or multiplayer. Give me a perfect AI any day of the week until I can whoop it's lilly ass.
I like Pirates and Dogs... but more than anything, I like Pirate Dogs.

And of course... the incredible Jet Man!!!
I'd like to meet anyone who has a personality; you remember that right? That little human quirk that gives someone their uniqueness, something that wasn't store-bought or premanufactured for your demeanor. Remember when personality counted for something? When the Robots in your Dreams made you cool, rather than a dork.
Personality counts in Spades and if you got it, you're cool in my book.
If your personality is plastic-coated or had a shelf-life, piss off and save yourself the time. If your personality is borrowed from your television or your radio, please exit stage left.
"Is there anyone out there who can still think critically?"

I've never really looked up to celebrities. They've always been normal people to me, the few that I've met have been a little put off by the fact that I'm not intimidated. I think many more have been a little set off by the fact that I talk to them like regular people, not like some talking magazine article. Now, I certainly haven't met everyone and I'm never on the lookout for celebrities, but I do enjoy seeing someone that I've only ever seen on TV or heard on cd's. Most of the celebrities that I have met have all been rockstars. Usually I'm the guy drinking a beer and hanging out at the show (remember?) :) I've bought more than one rockstar a beer after a show and been proud to bypass the autograph or the photo for a firm handshake and a sincere smile.
If you rock, I want to meet you! If you're rad, I want to meet you! If you're the Bee's Knees, I want to meet you! If you're down with Lobster Johnson, I want to meet you!
Rock and Roll! AC/DC (BonFire!), Jet, The Kinks, The Ramones, Hot Water Music, Rumbleseat, The Queers, Screeching Weasel, The Riverdales, Avail, The Vindictives, The Bouncing Souls, The Lillingtons, The Lawrence Arms, Alkaline Trio, The Parasites, The Dead Milkmen, Teen Idols, Greenday, Joe Strummer, Bob Marley, The Man in Black, Less than Jake, NOFX, and of course all of my friend's bands: Malificorum, M.I.S.L.E.D., Mission Statement, TA80, and Sera Bellum!
I listen to Alice Cooper at nighttime when I'm done with work and school and I trust what he's gonna play for me. I've either never heard it and it's sweet for that reason, or it's probably going to rock! The man has quite a diverse range and I think he's an interesting man. Alice, Rock On!
The List could go on and on. I worked in video stores for way too many years. :) Good times really! But why waste your time with the movies that everyone knows are good, like Star Wars and Braveheart. Everybody knows that the Godfather should be on every man on MySpace's page, same goes for Scarface. Do I need to tell you that Raging Bull and Goodfellas can make you worship Martin Scorsese? Do I need to point out that renting Spank my Maid 4 and Sleeping Booty along with several Shirley Temple movies is just a little creepy?
My passion for movies is all Kung-Fu. I love action, sci-fi, horror, comedy, drama, documentary and even some foreign flicks. There is also the occasional anime, but if I have to watch something animated, give me Spike and Mike anyday. Or old Beavis and Butthead (With the Videos!).
I love it when a good movie can bring back a cool fashion trend, like Boondock Saints and P-Coats, or Star Wars and just being a dork, or a dressed-up dork.
There is nothing cooler than Man-o-vations followed by a horrid round of mocking the audience, followed by girls jumping on trampolines!
Every episode was poignant, thoughtful and action-oriented. Even the worst episode was better than most reality shows and it ranks right up there with Band of Brothers as far as drama and comroderie.
I liked King Dork, Fight Club, Lullaby, If Chins Could Kill, Punk is a Four Letter Word, From Hell, Watchmen, and Sin City. Hellboy and BPRD are on my bookshelf, including Bones of Giants.
I try to be my own hero everyday. I try to be someone that I can be proud of at the end of the day. I try to be just and to be prepared. I try to help where I can. I don't have superpowers and I don't have supergadgets. I don't even have that much money. Just for the record, I also don't have a superoutfit, though my glasses could probably stop a bullet... I'm like Clark Kent in Superman 2 without his superpowers. I'll probably get my ass kicked.
